Book Character Dress Up Day

Students at both campuses are invited to dress up as their favorite book character!

The purpose of Book Character Day is to enjoy the season together and make connections over literature–please keep costumes related to a book character. Additionally, please have your students bring their favorite book (to match their character costume).

Book Character Costumes: lease no violent selections or weapons. If in doubt, leave it out . Out of uniform dress day code will be in effect. Please do not send your child to school in inappropriate attire.

Lower Campus: Students and staff will participate in a parade of characters at 10:00 AM. Parents are welcome to come and stand outside the school to enjoy the short parade.

Upper Campus: We will have our annual Book Character Costume Contest! To be eligible for the contest, upper campus students must both dress as a book character and bring a corresponding book. He or she will then be entered to win a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place Best Book Character Prize. We will have a short assembly to announce the winners and showcase some of their literary selections! This is for students and staff only.
